Antigua, Guatemala and Casa Linda

A beautiful Antigua morning, the Land of the Eternal Spring, and what a way to celebrate my birthday!  I feel so blessed.

What is inside those austere walls is a secret paradise. View from

The house, like most here, is built around at least one interior courtyard

Flowers bloom all year long in this tiny spot of paradise,
growing in the ground and even from trees and buildings

Growth is never stunted in this temperate climate.  I know this as the "shrimp
plant"
