As most of you know, I've been fiddling around with my blog, trying to make improvements. Well, this morning I accidentally removed all the comments and my replies! I'm so sorry. Please don't leave me!!

When I first went to that website I was excited because it looked like it would work to retrieve the comments; but when I followed the instructions, it appeared that the information wasn't for blogspot.com but an older version or something. So, then I tried using blogspot.com, but found that, because I'd labeled the comments "spam" they're gone forever! Thanks for the suggestion; boy have I learned a lesson. There were over a thousand comments in my spam folder. I checked on several and they were indeed spam; so I just checked off ALL and away they all went!!!
DeleteI hope Roger's link will help - that would be a shame to lose those. If you back up your blog, you'll have everything from here on. I'm going to do a back up tomorrow. I don't want to lose all my posts, either, and I try to remember to back it all up every six months or less. It's been a while - thanks for reminding me. Good luck! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, this is the next best thing. I have my Lacie Rugged All-Terrain Hard Disk and will back up the whole blog and hard drive. I'm sick about losing everybody's comments.

ReplyDeleteSo, I have my Lacie external hard drive plugged in but it took almost all night just to scan it's contents. Now I have to figure out how to back up again. Of course there're no instructions; I think I'll go to the website.
